Laos Wind Trace Art Museum

In a land rich in history and ethnic culture, you may appreciate a quick trip back to the present day with the celebration of modern art. A visit to the newly opened art gallery, Laos Wind Trace Art Museum, will give you a real insight into authentic traditional life, as portrayed by young Lao artists.

Step out of the busy town of Pakse and into a quiet and serene space in the forest to visit this unique project developed between Laos and South Korea to foster and exchange art. The gallery features Korean and Laos exchange exhibitions including paintings from the students at the Art School in Pakse. It also has a small café with a peaceful view of the forest.

Entrance fee:

The entrance to the museum is free and the works are for sale. Food and drink: There is a small café offering hot drinks and a few snacks.

How to get there:

The art gallery is about 7km south from Pakse town centre on Road 13. Take a tuk tuk or hire a bicycle or motorbike in town.
